What is the Mission of Computing Services?
Our mission is to contribute to the quality of the undergraduate experience and the empowerment of the college community by maintaining a robust information infrastructure and related support services with a special emphasis on integrating technology into the curriculum.
We plan and manage information technology resources from a college-wide perspective and strive to provide a versatile and navigable information infrastructure.
Who are our customers?
Our customers are all members of the college community - faculty, professional staff, and students.
Who makes up Computing Services?
Computing is comprised of five groups: Networks and Systems, Applications and Programming, Academic Technology Services, the Computer Store, and User Services. The Center is not disjointed units working towards dissimilar goals. We have a common set of aspirations, an understanding of each other's abilities, and a desire to collaborate both internally and externally.
Where are we found?
Physically, we are located on the lower level of the Martin Library of the Sciences and on the lower level of Stager Hall. However, we are where our users are - offices, residence halls, classrooms, and the library. Computing is not a single entity; it offers a range of services through the network, the phones, and on a walk-in basis.
