Liven it up with Movies and Sounds

In addition to adding pictures, graphs, charts, and animation to your presentation, PowerPoint lets you embed movie and sound clips into your slides.

To insert movies and sound clips, from the INSERT menu, select MOVIES AND SOUNDS. The submenu that appears has several options related to movies and sounds.

If you choose the PLAY CD AUDIO TRACK option, the PLAY OPTIONS window appears. Just choose the desired tracks from your CD to be used during your presentation.

Once you are finished setting up your sound options, this icon appears in your slide. Click on the icon to play the track.



record sound You may also want to record your own sounds for the presentation.

Selecting the RECORD SOUND option produces the following window for sound recording.

Enter the appropriate data, and click on the record button to record your sound.

Click stop when you have finish recording.

Click OK save when you are finished.
