Personalize Your Presentation
PowerPoint can tailor your presentation so that all slides will look a certain way or fit a specific template. If you need to create a presentation for a specific company or have a logo or design that you would like to include on every page, then you will need to custom tailor your presentation. This task can be easily done in SLIDE MASTER View.
To open the SLIDE MASTER, from the VIEW menu select MASTER, and from the sub-menu select SLIDE MASTER.
The SLIDE MASTER View enables you to enter information that appears on every slide in your presentation. You can use the title bar to insert a company name or logo. Or you can customize your bullet lists so that every page follows the same bullet and font styles. If you want to be even more elaborate, you can add borders and pictures to the master slide.
By default, the Slide Master displays a miniature version of one of your slides.
The Slide Miniature enables you to immediately view any changes you make.
You can remove the miniature with the SLIDE MINIATURE button on the Master Slide Toolbar.
When you are finished tailoring your master slide and want to return to the normal slide view, from the view menu select NORMAL.
Alternately, you can simply use the CLOSE button on the Master Slide Toolbar.
Now, we suggest that you take the time to check the documentation on placing graphs and charts into your presentation:
