Help Desk| Training & Tutorials| User Area Services| Computer Workroom| Student Consultant Services

--is located on the ground floor of Martin Library
--is responsible for providing end-user support for the campus community
--provides e-mail, telephone and walk-in support via the Helpdesk
--supports basic Macintosh applications and utilities, the essentials of internetworking, internet-based resources, and related hardware and software
--manages the student computing workroom, and a computer-equipped teaching facility in the Martin Library of the Sciences
--conducts workshops on a variety of office productivity tools and network-based topics
--advises users on the uses of local area and wide-area networks
--produces several publications including Lyte Bytes an electronic computing newsletter, and a variety of tipsheets

Other responsibilities of User Services include upgrading College-owned desktop computers, testing and monitoring software, and maintaining a library of documentation on all the applications and hardware platforms supported by Computing Services.
